The exclusive design feature of the bar extending out past the wall mounts amplifies the high-end appearance and upscale look. The Wave Designer grab bar is available in both a left and right handed version, and comes in various high end finishes and lengths, to meet your every design need. While the variety of finishes allow for a multitude of aestehtics from coastal, contemporary, minimalist, bohemian, southwestern, urban modern, to spa chic. What is the difference between Left Hand and Right Hand?

You will notice that you have the option to select “Left Hand” or “Right Hand” under the “Direction” selection above. Both versions have a sloped shape that is opposite of one another. The Left Hand has the slope on the left and the Right Hand has the slope on the right. When the grab bar is placed horizontally in the shower or bath, most people prefer that the higher side / sloped side of the bar is nearside to the shower/bath’s control wall. Additionally, when you put the bars on opposing facing walls and want the contour to follow the same way, you would choose a left hand and a right hand to match one another. You cannot simply flip them, unfortunately.   • Flanges: 14 gauge #304 stainless steel with holes for attaching to wall.

  • Hardware: Includes (6) 2 inch stainless steel screws PLUS die-cut silicone seals for each mounting point to resist moisture from getting behind flange.

If you do encounter a problem or are just simply unhappy with your product, we will work with you to ensure that your needs are met. Please read the eligibility details & procedure for our return policy below. If you are eligible for a return and would like to proceed, please submit an RGA Request (instructions below).

Return Period:

  • Products (based on our “Return Qualifications” below) can be returned within 30 days of a purchase.

Return Qualifications:

GrabBars.com may refuse a return when the returned item is not in like-new condition. To qualify for a general return, the item(s):

  • Must be in resalable condition.
  • Must be free from scratches and/or defects.
  • Must not have been installed or had attempted installation (no scour marks from screws, bolts, mounting hardware, screw-driver’s, etc.).
  • Must be in the original manufacturer’s box and packaging.
  • Must not have any writing on the original packaging.
  • Must not be missing parts / pieces.
  • Must not have damage from return shipping due to improper packaging.

Restocking Fee:

  • GrabBars.com charges a 20% restocking fee on all returned items, except in situations where GrabBars.com shipped the incorrect item.

Original Shipping Cost:

  • Original shipping cost is non-refundable, unless the product is defective/damaged or received in error.

Return Shipping Cost:

  • You are responsible for paying return shipping costs for the item(s) unless the product is defective/damaged or received in error.
  • If you are returning an item over $75.00, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Processing Time:

  • Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse, we will send you an email notification with confirmation.
  • We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Please expect 5 business days for our team to review returned items.
  • If the refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3-5 business days.

Caution:

  • ⚠️A grab bar is only as strong as the anchoring devices and the wall on which it is mounted to. (We sell many anchoring devices for all wall types.)
  • ⚠️For ADA Compliance, follow ADA Placement Guidelines.
  • ⚠️Do not subject the grab bar to harsh cleaning chemicals. Use soap and water, sponge the surface, then rinse and wipe dry. Read the Grab Gar Cleaning Guide.
